About Alejandra...

Alejandra is a Lifestyle Medicine certified, Registered Dietitian with over 16 years experience and a strong belief that everyone can lead a healthy lifestyle regardless of their circumstances.

 

Her focus and expertise are Holistic Weight Management and Women’s Health.


Ale's life experience, and many years supporting people around the world, has led her to develop an authentic method of coaching.  She will gather all the necessary information, based on evidence, not only to encourage a dietary behaviour change, but also to support a unique individualised lifestyle intervention, that will work for you.


The umbrella of Lifestyle Medicine can be applied to all health disciplines,
however, and Ale has first hand experience addressing her own conditions using the principles.

 

She is now passionate about applying its principles to the management of IBS and the low FODMAP diet, endometriosis, PCOS, infertility, pre and post-natal nutrition, and the one and only phase of peri menopause and menopause.


With extensive CPD and further qualifications in behavioural change and neuro-linguistic programming, I have the knowledge and experience to support women and men in these areas with a unique and empathetic approach. Always evidence – based.

SERVICES

LIFT Express Lifestyle Check (40min). 

 

The purpose of this short session is to help you feel empowered about the changes you can make without detailed and thorough guidance. In a one-off session with, we will go briefly through the 6 pillars of lifestyle medicine (nutrition, movement, stress, sleep, social environment & tobacco/smoking) and assess if there are any areas of improvement to achieve your goals. Prior our session you will be prompted to fill in a Health Questionnaire to save time. We will attempt to give you general guidance there and then or lead you towards available public online resources that could be helpful.

Alternatively, this time with Ale, can be used to ask all your burning nutrition & lifestyle questions that do not require a follow up. There will be a brief follow up email summarising your session that will not include any bespoke plans.

 

Whats Included?

Who is this for?

Anyone with an uncomplicated health history looking for on-site brief guidance to achieve their goals.

Short Coaching Program (6 weeks).

 

The purpose of the Short Coaching Programme, is to give you a detailed and bespoke lifestyle plan
that includes guidance on how to improve the 6 lifestyle medicine pillars according to your life and
goals, and set you up for success so you can continue making changes and having progress mainly on your own. This programme is helpful for people who want totackle a couple of habits and/or have a broad
understanding of how to nurture their bodies. This programme is not intended for people who have a complicated health history, including disordered eating, and/or looking for more than 5kg weight loss.
A discovery call is advisable to help you decide the best approach for you.

What is Included?

  • 1 Initial Consultation (60min)

  • 1 set up session (50min)

  • 3 follow ups (50min)

  • 1 bespoke Lifestyle Plan with guidance on the 6 pillars of Lifestyle Medicine

  • Optional body composition scan with each in- person session

  • Unlimited WhatsApp/email support on during working days/hours

  • Ad hoc recipe development if needed (max 2 recipes per week)

Who is this for?

People that want short-term support and prefer to work on their goals independently.

Long Coaching Program (12 Weeks). 

 

The purpose of a Long Coaching Programme is to give you support in more complicated scenarios like elimination diets for IBS or intolerances, long weight loss journeys (+5kg), weight gain, and generally if you feel that you would like to have support for longer than a month, build strong habits and positive and resilient mindset with all the tools necessary to achieve your goals and maintain them afterwards. The length of this programme is also recommended if you would like to be supported through a maintenance phase after any amount of desired weight loss. There’s plenty of evidence- based research in this aspect that recommends on going support during the maintenance phase.
